Lil Nas X, the “Old Town Road” rapper sparked controversy over the past weekend after announcing a collaboration with MSCHF, a company that makes custom shoes. The “Satan Shoes” are a custom version of Nike’s Air Max 97 sneakers that feature a pentagram pendant, a reference to a Bible verse about Satan’s fall from heaven and, reportedly, a drop of real human blood.
