On Monday, fans can tune in to MTV to catch the annual award show and see which of their favorite artists win big and which miss the mark. This year, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift had the most nominations, each racking up 10, followed by Billie Eilish with nine and Lil Nas X with eight.

There are more than 20 categories for the award show, ranging focus from the artist to those who work behind the scene.
