The Broken Lizard boys met as undergrads at Colgate in upstate New York, and now, thanks to strong DVD sales for “Super Troopers”–1.5 million copies for a movie that grossed $18 million at the box office–they’ve built a mini movie factory. The five men write and star, and member Jay Chandrasekhar directs, presumably because he won the rock-paper-scissors round robin. Next up: a period piece about Plato and Aristotle in college. Assuming, of course, that the Heavenly Father lets them live long enough.
