The town, too, has been revitalized. Thanks to extensive government and private investment, Karlovy Vary’s ornate baroque and Renaissance buildings are being repaired and repainted. The clean wide streets are full of elegant tea houses and inviting shops. And this week, especially, there are plenty of movies to see.
